Super Women

I am a huge lover of comics. I admit to liking DC more than Marvel. Don't hate me.

Here is a list of my top ten DC dames:

10. 

Miss Martian

She has many powers including flight, turning opaque, and morphing into any organic thing. 

She is extremely polite for an alien from Mars an is very sweet. 

She's #10 because she thought that she couldn't be herself around her friends so she made this body that you see here to fit in and then lied about all of it. C'mon Megan, be true to you!

9.

Star Girl

Stargirl is an old favorite. She can fly, and shoot star-bolts out of her staff which is not pictured. 

I love her so much because she's just a teen and is constantly overshadowed by Super Girl who in my opinion is an arrogant jerk. Still though, Star Girl always rocks the situation! 

8.

Fire

Fire is a very strong, woman. No super strength or anything! She looks like a human until she switches on her powers and turns into this green beauty. She can fly and obviously light things on fire by shooting flames from her hands! She's so low on the list because she's very dependent on her colleague,  Ice. But she's still one epic woman! 

7. 

Huntress

I love Huntress so much because she doesn't play by the rules. While she was a member of the Justice League, she continuously would take the path of revenge for her upsetting childhood. As an expert fighter Huntress preferred to shoot tiny arrows into her victims with a harpoon like machine. While I think her cape is a little too much for her look, Huntress always rocks out.

Batgirl

You all know her. In the old TV show, it was constantly proven that Batgirl is a better hand to hand combat fighter than both Batman and Robin. What makes her so amazing is that as a teen, she decided to join Batman, without permission from him or anyone. Making her even more awesome, when the original Batgirl gets injured and sentenced to a wheelchair, she continues doing hero work as the Oracle, giving out directions and advice to any heroes who call her. 

5. 

Artemis

One of the coolest ladies on this list! As a new character on Young Justice, Artemis became an instant classic. She has no super powers, but she certainly packs a whalop with her mastery archer knowledge, dangerous past, incredible agility and impressive fist fighting. What I love so much about her is that she had a very rough childhood and her family members all became super villains, but Artemis took the other path and made a name for herself. She's also very sassy and won't put up with anything. 

4. 

Zatanna

Zatanna truly is a classic and I have a special place in my heart for her. She's a master magician who has a unique gift, anything she says backwards happens instantly! As a close friend of Batman, Zatanna typically plays by the rules but always dazzles things up with some magic. What makes her so awesome is that she has endless powers! Zatanna just needs to learn a spell or say something backwards and BOOM she's got it! 

3. 

Black Canary 

Black Canary is incredible to me. As the league's best combat fighter, Canary doesn't put up with anything and has no problem letting you know so. Her power is very interesting in that she can use a "canary cry" that is glass shattering and ear deafening. It can also cause explosions and create chaos for everyone and everything it's directed to. This is truly a dame you don't want to mess with. Plus she's dating Green Arrow and he's awesome! 

2. 

Wonder Woman

Really no surprise she's at the top of the list. As one of the top 3 guns in the league, the Princess rocks out with her super strength, flight, and warrior attitude. Born as a warrior the Princess of Themyscira was sent to America (hence the outfit) to fight in the war. Awesomely enough, being born onto a land with no men, Diana was extremely feminist and as an amazon she doesn't accept help from anyone. She is just too cool!

HawkGirl

You really don't get any cooler than HawkGirl! Shayera Hol was born on Thanagar and quickly became the top fighter. There's a long, complicated story about her being a spy but it all works out in the end anyway so we'll skip it. Shayera clearly has the power of flight, incredible strategic skill, and wields an electric mace that disrupts all forms of magic. What makes her number one is her attitude, where the mission is all that matters to her and you better not get in her way. She even has a tiff with Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman is the woman to crack first! You seriously do not mess with HawkGirl. 

That's my top 10 DC dames!
